Hello Friends my name is Lee Ferrell and I am Republican Candidate for Congress in Georgia’s 2nd Congressional district.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to come to my website.  I believe that an overwhelming majority think that Washington is broken.  Corrupt politicians, greed, and power have made the average individual suffer through high taxes, recession, and even loss of jobs.  It is time to restore common sense solutions and responsibility back into government.

I am running for Congress because I believe that there needs to be a change in Washington and that the average citizen is sick and tired of Washington.  I believe in real and true change in government by exercising less government, lower taxes, and fiscal responsibility.

PERSONAL:

I was born September 2, 1951 in Albany, Georgia to John K. and Lillian E. Ferrell. I have one brother, John K. Ferrell, Jr. and one sister, Susan E. Ferrell Coates. I have three nephews: John K. Ferrell III, Donovan M. Ferrell, Wesley T. Ferrell, and one niece: Lara L. Coates.

I have been blessed with a heritage of Patriots; my Father and two Uncles served in WWII, and one of my ancestors fought with William “Light Horse” Lee during the American Revolution and was present at the capture of Cherry Bridge, N.C and the second capture of Fort Augusta.

I am a member of Albany Bible Church in Albany, GA.

My Air Force Specialty was Security Police Supervisor.  I was qualified up to and including industrial espionage/sabotage and protection of the President of the U.S.

I am versatile as an Artist. My specialty is "Print Making". I have earned a living doing architectural delineations, prints, pen and ink illustrations, drawings, and oil painting. Working as an Army Illustrator I became proficient using the 35mm camera, Forox camera, Pos I and ITEK 560. My favorite subject to draw is children with charcoal or pencil. My favorite genre is oil painting landscapes.
