Healthcare, along with VA, Illegal Immigration and National Security are my “lines in the sand.” I will fight “Universal Free Healthcare”, corruption in the VA, and “Illegal Immigration” with my last dying breath. If you want to see “Free Health Care” come with me or a member of one of the 44 “Veteran’s Service Organizations” to visit a VA hospital, especially VA Long Care nursing homes, which by the way, are overflowing with young men and women suffering Traumatic Brain Injury and will never leave. Ask the people in Canada why their Doctors are closing their practices and moving to the US. Ask the people in Great Britain, where they have to wait months and months to see a Doctor (a very common problem with the VA). Research the countries that have “Free” healthcare or socialized medicine.

I offer as a failed model of “Free” healthcare, the failed, corrupted Veteran’s Administration. If the government can’t manage timely, quality healthcare at VA Hospitals, what makes you think they would be successful for you?

You want “Free Universal Health Care”? Tell your Congressman and Senators to make you eligible for the healthcare they created for themselves and their families. There is no space available for me or other military retirees, but if you are a member of Congress or House of Representatives you are given access to Bethesda Naval Hospital.
